What is the most sacred thing in the world? It is true love. True love begins with God. Since God exists, there can be no other way to happiness than the path of true love. God truly desires that we travel the path of true love, for without doing so we cannot come into the presence of God. We have to understand this point. God wants to see, hear, eat and touch through love. As for human beings, if we were to receive God’s kiss of love, our joy would be so great that we would feel as though we might explode from the inside. To rejoice like this is God’s only desire. He is not the sort who rejoices to have diamonds or jewelry.

The human body has five senses. We feel and become aware of true love through the impressions of our five senses. If our eyes are directed toward true love, they take on the color of true love and are intoxicated by true love. How beautifully those colorful, intoxicated eyes shine! Think about how enchanting our smiling lips would be. Try to imagine the intense beauty we would experience as our five senses, intoxicated in true love, moved in harmony toward God. Yet when God is all alone, He cannot experience the joy of such beauty. God can experience joy only by perceiving beauty in a partner. It was for this purpose that God created human beings. How would God feel as He observed a handsome man and a beautiful woman absorbed in each other’s eyes intoxicated in true love, kissing with lips intoxicated in true love, their hearts singing the melody of true love? If Eve had possessed such true love, God would have wanted to journey through every corner of her world of heart. He would have desired to find out for Himself just how wide and how deep was the world of heart of this beautiful Eve. God would have wanted to dwell throughout both Adam’s and Eve’s world of heart, a world more beautiful than the heaven and earth that God Himself created. You can be sure that God much prefers to travel within the world of heart of a person of true love than to travel the length and breadth of the universe. Adam’s and Eve’s world of heart and true love was to be such that God would never want to leave. What would have happened if, after God created human beings, He had plunged into their true love and lost Himself in that love? What kind of world would we have today? God would dwell in our midst. We would live in oneness with God, and create a world filled with joy and beauty.

God is completely responsive to human beings. If true love had been perfected in the human world, God would be living in our midst, totally enveloped by true love. He would have no second thoughts about it. God’s nature is such that He is completely happy with anything that happens within the realm of true love. Likewise, if human beings were living in this world of true love, their entire lives would be happy and free from regret. In such a world there would be no history of warfare, no grief, and no misfortune.

이 세상에서 가장 거룩한 것이 무엇입니까? 세상에서 가장 거룩한 것은 참사랑입니다. 참사랑은 하나님으로부터 출발합니다. 하나님이 존재하신다면 그 외의 길은 없습니다. 하나님께서 진심으로 바라는 것은 참사랑의 길이며, 참사랑의 길을 통하지 않고는 하나님 앞으로 나아갈 수 없다는 것을 알아야 하겠습니다. 하나님은 사랑을 통해 보고 듣고 먹고 만져보고 싶다는 것입니다. 인간도 하나님으로부터 사랑의 입맞춤을 받았다면 내부가 폭발할 것 같은 희열을 느낄 것입니다. 하나님의 바람은 여기에 있는 것이지, 다이아몬드나 보석을 소유하였다고 해서 기쁘다고 하시지는 않는다는 것입니다.

인간의 일신을 본다면 인체는 오감을 가지고 있습니다. 인간은 누구나 오감의 인식에 의하여 참사랑을 느끼고 확인하게 되어 있습니다. 눈이 참사랑을 향해 있다면, 그 눈은 참사랑에 물들어 취하게 되어 있습니다. 취한 눈동자의 색깔이 얼마나 아름답게 빛나겠습니까? 참사랑에 빠져 있는 사람의 미소짓는 입술은 얼마나 황홀하겠는가를 생각해 보십시오. 인간의 오감이 참사랑에 취해 움직이는 모습, 하나님을 향해 움직이는 오감의 조화가 얼마나 아름답겠는가를 상상해 보십시오. 그러한 아름다움을 통한 기쁨을 하나님 혼자서는 체험할 수가 없는 것입니다. 그런 아름다움은 상대가 있어야 체험하게 되는 것으로, 하나님이 인간을 창조하신 목적이기도 합니다. 참사랑에 취한 눈동자를 매만져 보고 싶고, 입술에 입맞춤하고 싶으며, 마음의 선율을 한 번 켜 보고 싶은 아름다운 남자와 여자가 있다면, 하나님은 어떠하시겠습니까? 참사랑의 해와가 있다면 해와의 심정세계를 한 번 여행하고 싶다는 생각을 가지실 겁니다. 아름다운 해와의 심정세계, 심정권이 얼마나 넓고 깊은가를 확인하고 싶은 충동을 가지실 것이라는 것입니다. 하나님은 당신이 천지를 창조하신 것 이상으로 아름다운 내용을 소유한 아담과 해와의 심정세계를 여행하시고 싶을 것입니다. 하나님은 참사랑의 인간에 대하여 우주를 여행하는 것 이상으로 그 심정세계를 여행하고 싶다는 생각을 가지실 것이 확실하며, 참사랑의 아담과 해와의 심정세계를 영원히 떠나고 싶지 않다는 생각을 가지실 것입니다. 하나님께서 인간을 지으신 이후 인간의 참사랑에 빠져 사랑의 미아가 되었다면, 세상이 어떻게 되었겠습니까? 인간 가운데 하나님이 거하시게 될 것이니, 하나님과 인간이 하나되어 만들어낸 세계는 기쁨과 아름다움이 충만한 세계일 것이 분명합니다.

참사랑이 완성됐다면 감응의 하나님께서는 그 참사랑에 홀딱 빠져도 후회하지 않으실 겁니다. 참사랑 가운데서라면 어떤 일이 생겨나도 마냥 좋아하실 분이 하나님이십니다. 참사랑의 세계에서 인류가 산다고 한다면 일생동안 후회 없는 행복된 삶이 될 것입니다. 또한 세상에 전쟁의 역사도 없을 것이며, 불만이나 불행이 없는 세계가 되었을 것입니다.

Те, чого Бог бажає всією душею, — це шлях істинної любові, тому знайте, що поки ви його не пройшли, ви не можете постати перед Богом. Бог хоче дивитися, слухати, їсти й торкатися всього через любов. Якщо людина отримає поцілунок любові від Бога, вона відчує таке захоплення, ніби в неї всередині стався вибух. Ось чого бажає Бог. Володіння діамантами чи іншим дорогоцінним камінням не принесе Йому радості.

Людське тіло влаштоване так, що в нас є п’ять органів відчуттів. Будь- яка людина може відчувати істинну любов і розпізнавати її на основі сприймання цими п’ятьма відчуттями. Коли очі звернені до істинної любові, вона просочує та сп’яняє їх. Як красиво блищать зіниці, сп’янілі від любові! Подумайте, які чарівні губи в посмішці людини, яка поринула в істинну любов! Уявіть собі, яка прекрасна гармонія її п’яти відчуттів, сп’янілих від істинної любові, які рухаються назустріч Богу! Наодинці Бог не відчуває радості від такої краси. Схожу красу можна відчути, тільки коли є партнер. В цьому і полягає мета, з якою Бог створив людину. Якщо є такі прекрасні чоловік і жінка, до чиїх очей, сп’янілих істинною любов’ю, хочеться доторкнуться, губи яких хочеться поцілувати, струн душі яких хочеться торкнутися, щоб почути їх мелодію, як вчинить Бог? Якщо є Єва, сповнена істинної любові, Він, напевно, подумає про те, щоб здійснити подорож по світу її серця. Він відчує такий порив, що Йому захочеться перевірити, наскільки широким і глибоким є світ серця Єви, її сердечна сфера. Бог захоче податися в подорож світом серця Адама та Єви, який вміщує в собі ще більшу красу, ніж небо й земля, створені Ним. Бог напевно захоче подорожувати світом сердець людей, сповнених істинною любов’ю, більше, ніж Він хоче подорожувати Всесвітом. При цьому в Нього виникне думка стосовно того, що Він віки вічні не хоче покидати такий світ сердець Адама та Єви. Яким би став світ, якщо б Бог після створення людей настільки поринув би в їх істинну любов, що став би схожим на безпомічну дитину? Бог оселився б серед людей, і світ, який Він створив би в єдності з ними, безперечно сповнився б радістю та красою.

Бог чуйний, і коли істинна любов досягне досконалості, Він без усяких сумнівів порине в неї з головою. Він буде надзвичайно радий, що б не трапилось, якщо тільки істинна любов спеленає Його зі всіх сторін. Якщо б людство жило в світі істинної любові, люди були б щасливими протягом усього життя, не жалкуючи ні про що. Більше того, в такому світі не було б історії війн, в ньому не було б незадоволення чи нещасть.

Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon gave this speech on the occasion of the founding of the Universal Peace Federation on September 12, 2005. It was also given in the UPF inaugural world speaking tour to 10 nations and in the rallies for the Return of the Homeland to God, held in 180 nations in 2006.

Peace Message I

This speech was given by both Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon during a series of assemblies for Ambassadors for Peace, Segye Times investigative reporters and other leaders in Korean society, which took place in March 2006, and in the rallies for the Return of the Homeland to God, held in 180 nations during the same year.
