“Beloved Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your grace. You have protected me through all my struggles from my youth up to this day, as I fought to prevent Heaven from suffering any shame or humiliation on my account. “I have learned that among all the good things on this earth, there is nothing more precious than to connect to Your original heart. Enable us to yearn infinitely for that relationship, knowing that when we truly experience Your love, we will have no regrets even if we are deprived of everything in this world. “Let us prepare today on earth for the day of our birth into our third life in the heavenly world as liberated children, endowed with the right of freedom.”

“Loving Father, we know that in order to greet the new spring, the relationships in our lives must be harmonious, that we might be completely absorbed in You. Only then can we greet the spring season and bloom as beautiful blossoms. Let us not be pitiful souls who, when asked whether we have ever greeted a spring season in our lives, are unable to reply in the affirmative.”

“Father, we recognize that if we lack the heart to attend You and bow down humbly to You, we will have no relationship to You in the eternal world. Open the doors of our hearts to feel Your heart; let us today hear Your voice welling up from the depths of our hearts so that we may regain our lost selves. Help us to appreciate Your historical course of toil and trouble to find each one of us, that we may humbly bow our heads before You.”

사랑하는 아버님, 하늘이 수욕을 당하는 부끄러움이 있을까 봐 어릴 때부터 지금까지 싸워 나온 소자를 지켜 주신 아버지의 은사에 감사드립니다. 이 땅에 그 무엇이 좋다 하더라도 아버지께서 운행하시는 본연의 심정에 연결된 것 이상 귀한 기준이 없는 것을 아옵니다. 그 자리를 무한히 그리워해야 되겠습니다. 아버님의 그 참된 사랑에 접하는 사람은 세상만사를 다 버린다 해도 미련이 없는 자리에 있다는 것을 저희들응 알아야 되겠습니다. 제3의 생의 자유권한을 가질 수 있는 해방아로 출생할 그날을 오늘 이 지상세계에서 준비해야 되겠습니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 저희가 새로운 봄을 맞이하기 위헤서는 내 생명이 동화될 수 있는 인연을 갖추어 거기에 완전히 흡수되어야 한다는 것을 아옵니다. 그래야 비로소 봄을 맞아 꽃을 피울 수 있다는 사실을 알아야 되겠사옵니다. 일생에서 어느 한때 봄을 맞이한 적이 있느냐고 물을 때 그렇다고 대답할 수 없는 불쌍한 영이 되어서는 안되겠습니다.

아버님, 아버지를 모시고 겸손히 경배드리고 싶은 마음이 없는 사람은 영원한 저나라에서 아버지와 인연을 맺을 수 없다는 것을 알아야 되겠사옵니다. 이제 저희가 마음의 문을 열고 아버지의 심정을 느끼게 하여 주시옵고, 오늘 저희의 마음으로부터 우러나오는 당신의 음성을 들어서 잃어버렸던 자신의 몸을 찾을 수 있고, 아버지께서 나 하나를 찾기 위하여 내 배후에서 환난과 수고의 역사 과정을 거쳐온 것을 느껴 스스로 머리 숙일 수 있는 저희들이 되게 허락하여 주시옵소서.

Любий Отче, дякую Вам за благодать, за те, що Ви захищали мене з дитинства, коли я боровся, щоб Вам не довелось зазнати сорому через приниження. Хоч і багато гарних речей на цій землі, та немає нічого ціннішого за зв'язок з Вашим первісним Шімджон, яким Ви спрямовуєте. Розуміючи це, ми мусимо нескінченно прагнути цього зв'язку. Ми не знали, що ті, хто доторкнеться до любові Отця, не пошкодують, навіть якщо покинуть усе на світі. Ми маємо прямувати до ідеального світу, нашої первісної батьківщини, де ми дихатимемо любов'ю Отця як повітрям. Зараз тут, на землі, ми повинні підготуватися до того дня, коли зможемо народитися звільненими дітьми, наділеними правом на свободу в третьому житті. Так само, як дитина має бути здоровою в утробі матері, щоб її життя на землі було здоровим, ми потребуємо здорового життя на землі, щоб мати здорове життя на небесах.

Любий Отче, нам слід знати, що для того, щоб мені зустріти нову весну, я мушу встановити з Вами зв'язок, завдяки якому моє життя зіллється та повністю Вами поглинеться. Нам слід також знати, що тільки тоді зможуть розквітнути квіти. Ми не повинні стати нещасними духами, які не зможуть ствердно відповісти на запитання: «Чи зустрічали ви колись у своєму житті весну?», які потрапили на той світ, так і не зустрівши весну.

Отче! Ми зрозуміли, що той, хто не має бажання служити й смиренно поклонятися Вам, не зможе встановити з Вами стосунки у вічному світі. Відкрийте наші душі, аби ми відчули Ваш Шімджон і почули Ваш голос ізсередини наших душ, і допоможіть відновити свої непокірні тіла. Дозвольте нам відчути, через які випробування та труднощі Ви пройшли за лаштунками історії в пошуках кожного з нас, щоб ми могли схилити перед Вами свої голови.

Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon gave this speech on the occasion of the founding of the Universal Peace Federation on September 12, 2005. It was also given in the UPF inaugural world speaking tour to 10 nations and in the rallies for the Return of the Homeland to God, held in 180 nations in 2006.

Peace Message I

This speech was given by both Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon during a series of assemblies for Ambassadors for Peace, Segye Times investigative reporters and other leaders in Korean society, which took place in March 2006, and in the rallies for the Return of the Homeland to God, held in 180 nations during the same year.

Peace Message II

The keynote address Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon gave on April 10, 2006, during the Third Assembly of the Mongolian Peoples’ Federation for World Peace, in the Republic of Korea.

This message was delivered by Rev.
